That's the towers of the Time Warner building at the far end. Central Park is to the right. And that's a bird flying right at me as I took the picture.
I've been taking a few photos of birds recently, so when I saw this pic, I automatically wondered what that bird would look like if the photo were cropped to just focus on it.
