Decorated Cigar Box

Cigar Boxes were once all the rage, along with shoeboxes, for storage of all sorts of items. In kindergarten, we kept our craft supplies and projects in one or the other, each of us having a little cubby space for our box.

I got a couple of cardboard cigar boxes from one of my grandfathers when I was a bit older, and when a friend showed me how to make collages using clear Con-Tact Paper, I went a bit crazy making collages using photos from teen magazines, mainly "16 Magazine" and "Tiger Beat." I had this box for many decades, finally placing it in the recycling bin a year or so ago.
