Nickel-cadmium meteorite from Diablo Canyon, AZ

Normally, I'd take a new photo for Thursday Challenge, but this time, given that the theme is "old," I thought I'd use an old photo of an old object, this meteorite that was donated to the library where I was working at the time. It's incredibly heavy, yet I could hold it in one hand, it being just slightly larger than my hand.
